This section brings together a set of supporting resources including links to other websites with useful ecology and nature resources.
Teaching Principles
The resources across this site are built around a simple educational framework. This page explains the thinking behind the structure of each page — why examples, fun facts, activities, and reflections are each designed the way they are, and what role they play in supporting deep and memorable learning.
Useful External Resources
A curated collection of links to other websites with high-quality ecology and nature resources, useful for extending learning beyond this site.
Building Your Own Resource Packs
Throughout the site you will find an Add button on individual resources such as nature examples, activities, handouts, and reflections. Clicking it adds that resource to your current resource pack. You can collect resources from across the site and then use the Resource Pack panel on the right-hand side to review, organise, edit, and save your collection, or generate a shareable link to send to colleagues or parents.
Resource packs are a flexible way to build your own tailored teaching materials — picking exactly the examples, activities, and handouts that are right for your class.
